I'm guessing China, France and Italy would do well in this one.
And The United States would be somewhere between Sweden and Egypt :)

Okay, some of this is still pretty softcore but none of it is nice stuff. Here goes:
-A celebrity deathpool
-Another site that introduces people from a retirement home and let's you place bets on who's dying next (Round 1, Agatha, 88, bad heart, overweight VS. Earl, 75, Alzheimers)
-prank call people going through a personal tragedy
-take snapshots of women going into a battered womens shelter and make fun of them on the website.
-A site that collects money for hits on annoying celebrities. When the pool hits 50 000$ - no more Simon Cowell.

Probably worth pointing out that the posts then are probably best aimed at being "lasting" - if it takes time and collaboration to put together then "current events" probably isnt the best topic.

Intriguing idea

Gotta admit that sounds like a pretty cool idea. But we might not want to give so many points for a strong military!

Hi!
The simplest way for the collaboration is that people submit their ideas or even half-ready work by e-mail or as comments and I post the submissions as blog posts. They can then be found under categories such as "Work in progress" or "Ideas". Anyone who is interested in the topic can then post their input as comments.

Hopefully the post ends up being good enough for it to be posted somewhere. Then we credit the original poster as well as people who contributed to the small project and everybody lives happily everafter.

The submissions can be just random ideas but also something you plan on posting on your blog but have trouble writing alone. If you are the original poster you obviously get first dibs on submission rights but in all other cases we'll just have to work out such an arrangement that's fair for everyone involved.

Don't be afraid to ask more if I wasn't too clear.

Sounds pretty interesting but it isn't too clear how the whole thing is supposed to work in practice. Content through teamwork, ok, sounds good but could you be more precise as to what's supposed to take place on this blog?
